The assistant keeps your conversations so you can pick up where you left off. History is organized per symbol and saved locally in your browser.

Per-symbol conversations

Conversations are stored per ticker, so the chat you have about AAPL is separate from the one about BTCUSDT. When you switch symbols, the assistant shows the conversations that belong to that symbol.

Switching and starting conversations

Use the conversation picker in the assistant drawer to:

  • Start a new conversation.
  • Switch between previous conversations for the current symbol.

This makes it easy to keep distinct threads — for example one exploring a setup and another drafting a strategy — without them bleeding together.

Where history is stored

Conversation history is saved in your browser's local storage, like your other workspace preferences. That means:

  • It persists across sessions on the same browser and device.
  • It is not synced to a server or shared across devices.
  • Clearing site data removes it.

Note that proposed chart actions are part of the conversation, but applying them is always a separate, explicit step — see Applying AI Chart Actions.
