Join the Fractal Chart community to ask questions, share ideas, report issues, and follow along as the workspace evolves. We run two community channels, each suited to a different kind of conversation.

Discord

Our Discord server is the place for real-time chat. Use it for:

• Quick questions and help getting unstuck.
• Sharing charts, indicators, and strategy ideas.
• Casual discussion with other traders and analysts.

Discourse forum

Our Discourse forum is a GitHub-style discussion board for longer-form, searchable conversations. Use it for:

• Feature requests and roadmap discussion.
• Detailed bug reports and reproductions.
• Guides, write-ups, and questions worth keeping around for others to find later.

As a rule of thumb: reach for Discord when you want a fast back-and-forth, and the forum when you want a discussion that stays searchable over time.

Before you post

A lot of common questions are already answered in the docs:

• Setup and data issues — FAQ & Troubleshooting.
• Data providers and API keys — Configuring Providers & API Keys.
• Authoring custom indicators and strategies — Authoring Overview.

When reporting a problem, it helps to include the symbol, timeframe, and provider you were using, plus any error message shown on the chart.
